- Template:R case → Template:R from other capitalisation (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Ambiguous R cat shortcut - for 5 years this targeted Template:R from case citation and was used in the sense of "a legal case", in January this year it was unilaterally retargeted to Template:R from other capitalisation to be used in the sense of "Upper and Lower case letters". Since this has a grand total of 2 transclusions I think it is probably best to delete this. 192.76.8.91 (talk) 21:21, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delete. <creator> There are actually four rcat templates that are plausible targets for this ambiguously titled redirect, possibly five:
- {{R from case citation}}, for court case
- {{R from other capitalisation}}, for alternative case
- {{R from miscapitalisation}}, for incorrect case
- {{R from CamelCase}}, example MainPage (historic titling)
- {{R from modification}}, very general, so only if no better target exists
- Normally I would argue "keep" even if backlinks are missing; however, in this "case" there are zero pageviews, so there are probably few or no external links that would be broken if this redirect is deleted. P.I. Ellsworth ed. put'r there 04:02, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- G7 per above comment. Dudhhr (talk) 04:36, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- Template:SORTIERUNG:Lasorling → Template:DEFAULTSORT (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Unused template redirect intended for use in just one article (presumably). The DEFAULTSORT followed by colon system has since replaced {{DEFAULTSORT}}. – Jonesey95 (talk) 16:06, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- This can be deleted. What would be more useful would be to somehow redirect, convert or replace the de.wiki template {{SORTIERUNG}} to {{DEFAULTSORT}} but I don't know how to do that. Bermicourt (talk) 16:23, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- That redirect already exists. See {{SORTIERUNG}}. Bermicourt created it in 2012. You have to use a pipe |, not a colon :, to make the redirect work. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:51, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

- Cheating on You (Charlie Puth song) → Cheating on You (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Should Cheating on You (song) be retargeted to Cheating on You, or should Cheating on You (song) and Cheating on You (Charlie Puth song) both be deleted (or tagged as a redirect from unnecessary disambiguation)? -- dylx 14:17, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- We can retarget the first to Cheating on You and tag both with {{r from unnecessary disambiguation}}. They're harmless and unambiguous. - Eureka Lott 16:56, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Keep - And retarget the first one to Cheating on You. They are harmless, unambiguous and likely search terms given how common this practice is.--NØ 17:33, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Keep and retarget per above. J947's public account 01:10, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Keep Cheating on You (Charlie Puth song) and retarget Cheating on You (song) to Cheating on You per above as {{R from unnecessary disambiguation}}. Someone might search for the song like this. Regards, SONIC678 01:19, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

This doesn't seem to be a real emoji. I can't find any reference for this. Gonnym (talk) 13:04, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- I can't see a flag either, but this is in Category:Redirects from emoji flags. Most of those also just appear as two-letter combinations to me, though some do display as flags. --BDD (talk) 15:23, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Delete. Nonexistent emoji. Dominicmgm (talk) 18:25, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- This is an interesting case. The Regional indicator symbol article explains that the emoji national flags are generated by two-character combinations from the regional indicator symbol subset. For example, REGIONAL INDICATOR SYMBOL LETTER U and REGIONAL INDICATOR SYMBOL LETTER S together make the US flag: 🇺🇸 (if your system supports it). As noted in the deprecated sequences table on that page, SU is the reserved code for the Soviet Union, but no emoji has been created yet, as far as I can tell. It's possible that this will work at some point in the future. - Eureka Lott 00:33, 12 May 2021 (UTC)
- Keep per Eureka. It seems WP:CHEAP enough to have these for any valid code, even ones that aren't currently implemented. If even one software somewhere implements this, then someone who doesn't recognize the flag could quite plausibly copy-paste it into Wikipedia to see what it represents. -- Tamzin (they/she) | o toki tawa mi. 00:37, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

"Business Information System" is not mentioned at the target in plural, singular, capitalised or uncapitalised forms. Is there a better target, or should these redirects be deleted as ambiguous (with, for example, YTJ (Finnish government service))? Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:48, 11 April 2021 (UTC)
Keep. It is a plausible search term for the subject of the article, so it is fine for the redirect to exist, even if it is not mentioned at the target. WP:HARMLESS. SCP-053 (talk) 02:29, 15 April 2021 (UTC)- SCP-053 I don't believe these are the same thing, I'm certainly not seeing them being used in an interchangeable way with a google search. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 18:22, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- — SCP-053 (talk · contribs) is a confirmed sock puppet of Waitemata (talk · contribs). -- Tamzin (she/they) | o toki tawa mi. 22:01, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- The primary usage I seem to be getting when I search for these terms relates to the Bachelor of Business Information Systems degree, but I'm not sure that retargeting there would be appropriate. I'm leaning towards deletion. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 18:22, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

- Weak retarget to Information system with a hatnote to the Finnish service. These fields are so laden with jargon, it's going to be very difficult to meaningfully distinguish between business/enterprise/management information systems. The others are linked from Information system, at least. --BDD (talk) 15:49, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
