Airs Adventure[a] is a 1996 role-playing video game developed and published by Game Studio for the Sega Saturn in Japan. It was produced by Masanobu Endō, who created the arcade games Xevious and The Tower of Druaga for Namco. The game, set in the Middle Ages, follows Henry Chaser Vincent, a warrior framed for a crime who sets out to find the truth about his conviction.
Airs Adventure is notorious in Japan for its rushed development cycle and overwhelmingly negative reception from players, who returned the game en masse in protest of its quality.[1] This led to retailers selling the game for ¥1.[1] Reviewers found the game to be below-average and criticized its graphics, ill-considered gameplay mechanics, and unfinished storyline. Several staff members behind Airs Adventure have not worked on any games since.[1]
