This might seem a little much, but I'm learning here. So this is as much a test as anything, and it shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Why I joined

I like this idea!

I think this is an awesome and important project. It is also very generous and altruistic - two virtues needed if human civilization is to work properly. When I grew up in Danish suburbia, we had an encyclopedia collection which was very useful and interesting to me and stimulating my interest in the world. I can't imagine growing up without those. And I like that Wikipedia is giving that opportunity to people who don't have parents with money to spare for encyclopedias. It is my hope that Wikipedia inspires everyone to read more and take an interest in the world they live in. I also use Wikipedia a lot myself. To browse interesting stuff, get an introduction to and overview of a new subject I'm diving into, prepare for travels and to settle pointless arguments and win beers! So I think it's about time I gave a little back...

I love beaches and the sun.

My main interests are:

• sports
• the world
• cyberspace.

When I'm not working og studying I like to travel and see the world. Meeting different people from all over the world, can really help to put your life and your attitude into perspective. I'm pretty happy/content as I have very little indeed to be unhappy about.
