Zibqine is a town in South Lebanon, 103 kilometres (64 mi) from the capital, Beirut, 4 km from the border with Israel. It is 450 metres (1,476.4 ft) above sea level. The town contains old Roman and Greek ruins.[citation needed]

It contains the following families: Bzeih, Slaibi, Barakat, Moslem and Atwi. It was severely damaged in the 2006 Lebanese-Israeli July War.
