Some of the ideas of Lagrange can be *adapted* to prove that the chakravala terminates, but AFAIK Lagrange never considered it. (One can also prove that the chakravala terminates if Brouckner-Wallis terminates; this is what Varadarajan's book does, for instance.) undo Tag: Reverted
