4shared is an online company established by Alex Lunkov and Sergey Chudnovsky in 2005 for the use of uploading and downloading files. 4shared has 5 million users and 11 million daily visits.
Users of the service can upload and download: music, video, photo, documents, and any other types of files. Each user gets a maximum of 10GB of storage space for the files they upload.

Usage
4shared allows users to upload and download files with any web browser . Registration commonly allow users to upload 10,240 MB to their account. Confirmation of registration via e-mail storage space to expand up to 15 GB . Premium users will be given space 100 GB to store files.
After a successful upload, the user will be given a URL unique that will allow others to download files. The files have been uploaded will be stored until the users to enter their accounts at least every 30 days or at least one of the file downloaded every 30 days. Premium accounts have no expiration time so that users continue to be premium users. Function is the same user interface standard functions windows explorer.
With users not yet registered to wait for 20 seconds in front download (CAPTCHA is not required) and can start several downloads simultaneously.

4shared Desktop
4shared Desktop is the manager of download / upload to support withdrawal & dropping the files and add an optional extra to the standard context menu of Windows which is usually called by right clicking the file. Available for Microsoft Windows only. The 4Shared Desktop software is similar to that of MegaUpload's MegaManager.
4shared Mobile
4shared Mobile is an application similar to 4shared Desktop. It allows Android, Blackberry, iPhone and Symbian OS users to get immediate access to their accounts, manage files and find new ones. Users can build a list of favorite files for fast access, organize files by folders and so on.
4shared Toolbar
4shared has also issued its Toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox . This application provides direct access to accounts and find 4shared users of social media websites. 4shared Toolbar also allows to view digital TV, listen to radio stations, see local weather and so on.
