Making repairs easier & more accessible

Giving our customers access to the parts, service manuals and software tools needed to repair Motorola phones.

Extend your product’s life

Motorola was the first major smartphone manufacturer to partner with iFixit to supply genuine parts. We continue to expand our partnerships adding Mobile Sentrix as one of our preferred parts distributors.

Find genuine Motorola parts

We are here to help you find and purchase genuine Motorola parts to repair devices.

Purchase Parts

Note: If you are a consumer, we suggest you first contact a recommended repair provider or a Wise-certified repair center who can help with purchasing the correct parts.

The hardware tools you need

We recommend repair centers use precision tools for high quality repairs. Details of repair tools can be found in the product’s L2 service manual.

The majority of repair tools are standard and can be purchased through iFixit, while more specific tools are available through our preferred parts distributor, Mobile Sentrix.

Fix-it-yourself

We recommend you use our repair options during the in-warranty period for best results. However, if you would like to perform the repair yourself, you can order a repair kit.Order Kit

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Motorola supporting product repair?
Motorola is committed to providing customers with repair options including parts purchase, software and hardware tools and detailed repair instructions.
Where can I find the repair manuals for my device?
The manuals and parts lists for your Motorola device can be found on Motorola’s parts distributor website.
Can I choose to repair my in-warranty device? Would it impact my warranty?
Yes, you can choose to do your own repair at any time; however, some repairs are complex, and we would recommend that you use an authorized repair center while your products are in-warranty so that you do not inadvertently void the warranty.

For example, in the case of a cracked screen, which is not covered by warranty, the phone will be considered out of warranty because of the screen damage. You can choose to order a repair kit from iFixit. If the repair is performed well, with genuine Motorola parts and doesn’t damage anything else, the phone will now be back in warranty. If further damage is incurred to other components or if non-Motorola parts are used during repair, it would still be considered to be out of warranty, and our technicians will discover this if you later try to submit the phone for an in-warranty repair.
What if my phone is not listed on the iFixit or Mobile Sentrix sites?
If your phone is not listed on one of our partner sites, you can visit our repair submission page for out of warranty options.
How can I find out about Motorola’s other repair options?
We offer different repair options depending on whether your device is in or out of warranty and whether or not you have a Motocare protection plan.
How can I check if my device is in warranty?
You can check your device warranty here.
