In 1999, DVDs and Palm Pilots were popular. We were waiting for the price of HD TVs to come down. Online shopping was gaining momentum. Broadband technology was hot in its promise to satisfy users need for speed. And, let’s not forget, Y2K. In this same year, #Trapeze EAM’s own Brett Koenig, Industry Solutions Manager, began his career with AssetWorks. With the carve out of their asset management software focused on the Transit Industry in 2012, Brett came over to join the Trapeze family as an EAM Industry Solutions Consultant. Much like the technological evolution to improve efficiency, speed, and UI, Brett has championed the progress of the EAM solution over the years, always with a focus on providing this same value to customers. Brett is not only recognized as being a leading voice in asset management within Trapeze and with our customers, he is also a highly respected and leading voice across the industry, frequently speaking and writing for industry events and publications such as APTA, Transportation Research Board, and State of Good Repair.
