Work with API keys

Note: If you've migrated to Google Cloud, the original permissions group is replaced by IAM permissions. For more information, see Migrate to Google Cloud.

 You can access the SOAR API  over port 443.  

 You can specify new API keys that provide authentication to connect using Google Security Operations SOAR API.

To create a new API key:

  1. Go to Settings > Advanced > API keys.
  2. Click add Add on the top right of the screen.
  3. In the API screen, add the name of the application that requires API access to Google SecOps SOAR.
  4. Select the required permission group for this API key. Note that the groups that appear in this drop-down are defined in the Organizations > Permissions screen.
  5. Select the required environments.
  6. Select the SOC role. For information on SOC roles, see Control access to the platform.
  7. Click Save. The new key now appears in the API keys screen.
