Furthermore, in order to measure the image stabilization performance of a digital camera in accordance with this standard, and state in product catalogues and similar materials that the results “comply with the CIPA standard,” it is necessary to use a certified vibratory apparatus, whether the vibratory apparatus is developed in-house or procured (purchased) from an outside company.
