It has everything you think a long-time maritime seaport would have and this week Dave Reage, Executive Director of Halifax Transit gives Paul a tour of his city by land and sea (Halifax has the oldest saltwater ferry in North America) talking about transit, electrification, and some things that make Halifax unique. Yesterday news broke that New York Governor Hochul was pressing pause on implementing congestion charges in New York City this month. As it happens, Paul was interviewing Matthew W. Daus on the topic yesterday and so we're going to bring you the whole interview on the next episode of the podcast on June 12th. Matthew gives his sometimes controversial opinions on congestion charges, why New York's plan failed, and how they could be implemented. Here's just a taste of the conversation.
