Congratulations, Britney Slimovitch (and Grizzly!) 👏
When your service dog was by your side for every class of the BCL/JD, doesn’t he deserve his own graduation photo? We’re so glad Britney Slimovitch, BCL/JD'24, thought so! “My time at McGill was the most formative and incredible three years I could have asked for. With the immense support of faculty and staff, Grizzly and I thrived in completing one internship, two clerkships, and a semester abroad, all in the United States. These experiences, along with the invaluable education obtained at McGill, enable me to pursue my dream of practicing public interest and criminal law in the U.S., beginning this summer in Tennessee after graduation. In the fall, Grizzly and I will be pursuing an LLM in Criminal Law and Policy Reform at a top-ranked law school in the U.S. While at McGill, although I struggled with Property Law, Grizzly excelled and was a great support to both me and my peers, specifically those who sat near us in the front row of the Maxwell Cohen moot court. We want to thank McGill Law for its continuous support and the SAO for believing in and supporting my out-of-the-box thinking and dreams. You guys rock!” Congratulations, Britney, Grizzly, and all the other members of the graduating class of 2024!
