Component: Add-ons Manager → Layout
Product: Toolkit → Core
Summary: Z-index issue of drop-down of meatballs menu → Z-index issue of drop-down of meatballs menu in addon-manager
Flags: needinfo?(dholbert)

FWIW, this reproduces for me on Linux, but I wasn't able to reproduce on macOS.

Seems basically cosmetic, but it does look ugly/weird when it happens.

Severity: -- → S3
Attached video screencast

I can still repro something like this, using yesterday's Linux Nightly with a fresh profile. See attached screencast.

The issue seems to go away when I hover around in different areas.

(Changing platform to "all" since it affects at least Windows and Linux).

OS: Windows 10 → All
Hardware: Desktop → All
Version: Firefox 87 → Trunk

Drive-by observations:

  • browser.zoom.full == false hides this behaviour
  • On 1080p screen, starts happening at 150% zoom, and on 1440p @ 170% zoom.
