Building a community around your startup is no longer optional - it's imperative. Over the last 2 months I had the opportunity to work alongside Paz (with the dream team, Jem H. and Liz van Zyl) to run the latest Community Collective Program. Over 8 weeks, 71 people from 10 countries: 👉 Heard from Community Experts (like Canva, Asana and Culture Amp) from around the world 👉 Learnt how to build community engagement & growth tactics 👉 Learnt how to calculate the ROI of Community 👉 Built a Strategy Roadmap Workshop for their own company 👉 Developed their public speaking & facilitation skills Plus they walked away with a fully fledged Community Strategy for their startup/company. Peer reviewed, with a roadmap for implementation. After running Communities within my startup, other startups and most recently at Airtree for over 10 years, I can safely say that community is at the heart of business.
