Energy and Climate Solutions

Our Energy & Climate Solutions (ECS) practice pioneered the utility-scale wind and solar industries, helped create residential solar, energy storage, and EV industries, and are working with project developers and sponsors in a broad range of clean technologies from solar, wind and battery storage to nuclear, hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization and sequestration projects throughout the United States and abroad. We do not represent the oil and gas industry, LNG terminals or pipeline owners, or vertically-integrated utilities that resist the energy transition, competition, or the climate imperative. We are unique in our mission-driven focus on clean energy and climate-friendly related projects, technologies, and business models, representing disruptors and innovators and those who finance them.

If you are a renewable energy project finance attorney with 6-8 years of substantial transactional experience who shares our passion for the mission, we want to hear from you. Your expertise will include asset backed securitization or asset backed lending representing sponsors, borrowers, lenders, or investors in the renewable energy industry, with a focus on project finance and/or structured asset-based finance and non-recourse lending transactions. Experience in tax equity in solar, wind, and energy storage project assets is preferred, but we welcome experience in adjacent project or structured financing areas if you have an interest in developing a broad expertise in financing in renewable energy projects and portfolios. You will join a collaborative team and have the opportunity to assume a high level of responsibility, working closely with experienced partners who actively engage in mentoring.
