Owner of one of the most successful YouTube channels in Brazil, Felipe Neto has more than 45 million subscribers. His was the first Portuguese-speaking channel to surpass the mark of one million followers and, in 2019, Neto stood out as the second most viewed YouTuber in the world. Leaving aside entertainment, he has embraced political and social causes and led emblematic actions. He has become one of the most powerful voices for democracy in Brazil and was included in TIME magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people on the planet in 2020. 

Neto founded VERO, an institute focused on developing mediatic educational projects and combating fake news online. He also created the “Cala Boca Já Morreu” initiative, which seeks to guarantee the rights of citizens and defend freedom of expression, including the right to criticize public authorities. Recently, Neto was invited to speak at UNESCO headquarters in Paris and at UN Headquarters in New York in recognition of his reach and influence among youth and the broader global online audience, and especially his initiatives to improve the digital environment through the production of content to fight misinformation.

Neto is also one of the leading communication specialists and entrepreneurs in Brazil, having established major companies focused on the professional development of the digital market in Brazil. Using his platforms, he has engaged with and raised awareness of the SDGs.
