hello, dear! i love your posts, could you do one where Lando goes out for race week and he leaves the baby with his mother, and when he comes back, she was upset because she missed him so much and says he had abandoned her, and wouldn't leave grandma's lap, but then she forgives him😂 thank you, girl, you're best❤️
Granny knows best
Lando had never known a love quite like the one he had for Yn. From the moment she was born, his world had shifted completely, revolving around the tiny human who looked up at him with big, trusting eyes. She was his pride and joy, his little princess, and leaving her for race weeks never got any easier.
But he had a job to do. So, as much as it pained him, he had to trust his mother to take care of his baby girl while he travelled for the latest race.
"Daddy will be back before you know it, sweetheart," Lando had promised, kneeling in front of Yn, who stood in her little pink pajamas, clutching her stuffed bunny. "Be a good girl for Granny, okay?"
Yn had pouted, her lower lip quivering as she clung to him. "But I don’t want you to go, Daddy."
Lando’s heart had clenched painfully. "I know, baby, I don’t want to go either. But I’ll call you every day, and I’ll bring you a present when I come back."
She had hesitated, considering his words. "A pink present?"
Lando had chuckled, brushing a curl from her forehead. "The pinkest present I can find."
Reluctantly, Yn had let him go, though her big, sad eyes had haunted him throughout the weekend.

When Lando returned home after the race, tired but eager to see his daughter, he had expected a warm welcome. What he didn’t expect was to be met with absolute coldness from his little girl.
Yn sat on his mother’s lap, tiny arms wrapped around Cisca’s neck, her head buried in her grandmother’s shoulder. She didn’t so much as glance at Lando when he stepped into the living room, holding a large pink teddy bear in his arms.
"Baby! I’m back!" he announced cheerfully, kneeling in front of the couch with open arms.
Nothing. Not even a flicker of excitement.
Lando frowned. "Yn? Don’t you want to come to Daddy?"
The little girl turned her face further into her grandmother’s shoulder. "No."
Lando blinked in confusion. "No? What do you mean no?"
Cisca smirked, patting Yn’s back. "She’s been quite upset with you, Lando."
"Upset?" he repeated, glancing at his father, who was chuckling quietly from his armchair.
Adam grinned. "Oh, you’re in trouble, son."
Lando sat back on his heels, utterly baffled. "Yn, baby, what’s wrong? Daddy missed you so much."
Finally, she lifted her head, her big brown eyes filled with unshed tears. "You abandoned me."
Lando’s mouth fell open. "What?!"
Yn nodded solemnly, her tiny face heartbreakingly serious. "You left me. I cried. I missed you so much, Daddy. And you weren’t here."
Lando felt like the worst father in the world. He dropped the teddy bear and reached for her, but she turned away again, tightening her grip on Cisca. "No, I stay with Granny."
Cisca gave Lando a teasing look. "Looks like you’re gonna have to work for it, tough guy."
Lando sighed, running a hand through his curls. "Baby, I didn’t want to leave you. But you know Daddy has to go race, right? It’s my job."
Yn sniffled. "I don’t like your job."
"Me neither, sometimes," Lando admitted with a soft smile. "But it helps Daddy take care of you. And I always come back, don’t I?"
Yn didn’t answer.
Cisca chuckled. "She’s not convinced yet."
Adam, clearly enjoying the scene, smirked. "Come on, lad, where’s that famous charm?"
Lando groaned. "Okay, okay. Yn, I brought you something!"
He grabbed the pink teddy bear and held it up. "Look! I got this just for you. It’s the pinkest teddy bear I could find!"
Yn glanced at it briefly before turning back to her grandmother. "I already have teddies."
Lando gasped dramatically. "But this one is special! I picked it out just for my best girl!"
She hesitated, her fingers curling into Cisca’s sweater. "I don’t know."
Lando sighed, dropping onto the floor in a dramatic heap. "Oh no. My baby doesn’t love me anymore. My heart is breaking. I might never recover."
Adam let out a booming laugh. "Good performance, son."
Cisca smiled, rubbing Yn’s back. "What do you think, sweetheart? Should we forgive Daddy?"
Yn turned her serious gaze to her grandmother. "Should I, Granny?"
Lando sat up quickly. "Oi! You’re asking Granny?"
Cisca laughed. "I think Daddy is very sorry, darling."
Yn turned back to Lando, eyeing him suspiciously. "Are you really sorry, Daddy?"
Lando nodded vigorously. "So, so, soooo sorry. I missed you every single second I was gone."
Yn studied him for a moment, then let out a long sigh. "Okay. But only if you never leave again."
Lando winced. "Baby, I have to leave sometimes…"
Yn narrowed her eyes. "Then more pink presents."
Lando grinned. "Deal."
Finally, she reached out, and Lando wasted no time pulling her into his arms, kissing her forehead repeatedly. "I missed you so much, little bean."
Yn giggled, snuggling into his chest. "Missed you too, Daddy."
Cisca and Adam shared an amused look.
"You know," Adam mused, "I think she’s got you wrapped around her little finger."
Lando sighed dramatically, rocking Yn in his arms. "Yeah. And I wouldn’t have it any other way."
