Should I get Hamilton Jamaican Pot Still Black Should I get Hamilton Jamaican Pot Still Black

Hey everyone. Since I started this journey I’ve learned that I LOVE Jamaican funk.

With that being said I’ve heard mixed reviews of Hamiltons JPSB.

The Jamaican runs I currently have are…

-Smith and cross -Plantation Xaymaca -Appleton Signature

Do you guys think it’s worth it for me to get the Hamilton JPSB? Or maybe even Dr. Bird or both? 😂

FYI the Hamilton is about 37 dollors at my local total wine.

Upstairs Tiki (in Philly) will be at Franklin Mortgage on 7/19 and 7/20 Upstairs Tiki (in Philly) will be at Franklin Mortgage on 7/19 and 7/20

For those who don’t know Upstairs Tiki was the last real tiki bar in Philly before it closed down. They’ve been doing pop-ups on and off for the last couple years at Franklin Mortgage.

Friday and Saturday this week they’ll be back slinging drinks, and we’ll be there to support! Hope to see some other Philly tiki people there!

Help naming/identifying a cocktail Help naming/identifying a cocktail

I've been toying with tiki drinks this summer and came up with a recipe that I'm pretty proud of. Issue is I didn't know what to call it or if it was similar to an already existing drink. Any help is appreciated, thanks everyone

Recipe:

3oz dark rum 3oz coconut water 2oz pineapple whiskey 2oz fresh lime juice 1oz pineapple syrup 1oz mango syrup 1 sprig of mint (muddled)

Muddle mint in a shaker. Shake with pineapple chunks and mango chunks for a minute. Strain and serve in a Tom Collins with crushed ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and mint sprig
