Meta is seeking a Site Operations Infrastructure Services Delivery Lead to join our Data Center Site Operations (“SiteOps”) team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. This individual contributor will play a vital role in the SiteOps leadership team. The ISDL is a hands-on adaptable leader, working across multiple data centers and functions to manage the optimal delivery and operations of compute and AI Infrastructure. The ISDL will drive operational excellence in a highly-complex, hyperscale, production environment. This role will drive the vision and strategy of complex and non-standard strategic initiatives, influencing their execution both within SiteOps and cross-functionally. By surfacing opportunities for Continuous Improvement (CI) and innovation, they amplify data center operations needs and provide thought leadership locally, within their geographic area, and for a globally distributed fleet. The ideal candidate will be a poised leader who can define and drive vision and strategy, influence execution and effectively manage complex, large-scale initiatives with multiple dependencies and group-wide impact. They will have demonstrated the ability to excel in strategic planning and analysis, thriving in high-pressure scenarios and in successful adoption, sustainment and continuous improvement of large-scale initiatives.
SiteOps Data Center Infrastructure Services Delivery Lead Responsibilities
  • Provide flexible leadership in managing the operational complexities of compute, storage and AI infrastructure environments locally and globally, ensuring initiatives align with the organization’s OKRs and KPIs, influencing overall SiteOps strategy and contributing to shaping the roadmap of operational excellence in SiteOps.
  • Contribute to and influence the vision and strategy to influence the operationalization and business transformation of new programmatic and/or automated solutions for data center initiatives/OKRs/KPIs. Collaborate with key partners, across multiple disciplines, drawing on local and global expertise to ensure alignment and strategic direction.
  • Identify risks and challenges, often ambiguous, associated with business transformation and operational excellence, escalating to the appropriate stakeholders and influence strategic plans, thought leadership, direction and collaboration across time zones, teams, and technical domains to deliver systems and services.
  • Assure seamless connections and communications of global data center initiatives, bridging the conceptual, logical, technical and operational aspects, fostering cohesiveness and effective business transformation. Reconciling disparities to ensure optimal integration into standard operations, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Apply data-driven metrics, methodologies and procedures that support optimal delivery and operational excellence. Provide data supplied narratives and ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Actively involved in referring, screening, interviewing and contributing to candidate selection. Providing mentorship and coaching to colleagues.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up 30%.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience and proven communication skills working within highly distributed organizations.
  • Experience devising and executing strategies for complex local and global initiatives, showcasing expertise in strategic thinking and execution, translating the strategy and vision of global initiatives into local execution.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address operational challenges, showcasing comprehensive knowledge of complex infrastructure.
  • Experience communicating the results of analysis and insights to cross functional teams and influencing collective strategy.
  • Adept at understanding the needs of various functions and prioritizing needs to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Effective at navigating through a highly ambiguous, complex environment.
  • Track record of effectively communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor of Science in technical or business management fields, or commensurate experience.
  • 8+ years of technical and/or operational experience in a large-scale data center or IT Infrastructure environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Six Sigma certification, with a preference for Green Belt or higher level of certification.
  • Holistic understanding of interconnected data center infrastructure: electrical, cooling, cabling, security, network, servers, and storage.
  • Successfully championed and supported innovations: adopted new technologies, piloted designs, and promoted best practices locally and globally.
  • Skilled in data analytics, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities, and proactively addressing business impacts in complex environments.

$130,998/year to $186,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
