Fine Wines of Alsace - Weinbach, Marcel Deiss and Trimbach (2006 Clos St Hune)

To many of us Alsace represents affordable and full-bodied Rieslings and the sweet Gewurtraminer that goes well with spicy foods. However, at the pinnacle of Alsatian wines sits the prestigious producers - Trimbach, Marcel Deiss and Weinbach.

Through meticulous collection, Nelda and I are happy to gather some of the most collectible (and well-aged) Alsatian wines in the world - including a bottle of 2006 Trimbach Clos St Hune secured at a steal (25% less than market).

Join us for a fun night out at Sala Thai. Please DO NOT be late, as Sala Thai only seats full parties and has a holding period of only 10 minutes. The reservation is for 6PM, but I'm setting the start time as 5:45 to avoid late-coming.

Just a reminder of our usual rules:

** The cost of this event is $120 and is for the cost of the wines, plus corkage only (Sala Thai charges Corkage). Please do not sign up if you're not certain of being able to make it.

NOTE: Meetup has started charging a "Partner Fee" that is above and in addition to the listed price of the event. It is annoying and confusing, but there is nothing I can do about it. It comes to approximately $5 more for each RSVP. You will see this charge when you complete your rsvp and pay for the event. Sorry!

You will also have to pay the cost of your food (plus 33% for tax and tip). We'd be doing this family style with sharing plates for everyone - let me know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions and preferences. There are very few restaurants that allow us to bring our own wine. We must be good guests to encourage the restaurant to continue to be generous to us.

Please read and understand the group's cancellation policy. If you take spot, then cancel, and no one else takes the spot, you will not receive a refund or credit. No refunds or credits will be given for no-shows or late cancellations (unless someone else takes your spot). All cancellations are subject to a $5 service fee.
