Employee Appreciation Day

We had a fantastic time celebrating Employee Appreciation Day this month. We're immensely grateful for every member of the haku team who contributes to our daily success!

International Women's Day

We also celebrated International Women's Day, and we are proud to recognize that haku is made up of 57% strong, dedicated, and intelligent women!

haku Run Club

The team thoroughly enjoyed participating in our inaugural haku Run Club started by Byron De Paz! It was a fantastic opportunity to bond with colleagues while completing a solid 3-mile run!

Napa Valley Marathon

Jose Escobar and Melissa Marrero had a blast supporting the Napa Valley Marathon! This awesome race includes a marathon, half marathon, and 5K. The Napa Valley Marathon and Half Marathon courses run through the scenic Napa Valley and the marathon is also a Boston qualifier! We can't wait for next year!

Chevron Houston Marathon - Run for a Reason Program Workshop

Ornella Cedeno and Kyleigh Asencio recently visited Houston, Texas, where they met with partners of the Chevron Houston Marathon RFAR Program. They demonstrated haku's fundraising capabilities and conducted a live Q&A session. Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend

Andria Evans was excited to support the 53rd Yuengling Shamrock Marathon Weekend in the heart of Virginia Beach! This race offers a range of race distances including Marathon, Half Marathon, 8K, and special challenges. Participants are able to embark on a journey through scenic Coastal Virginia on the flat and fast course, culminating in a breathtaking finish line overlooking the majestic Atlantic Ocean. They also have an epic post-race celebration right on the beach, complete with Yuengling beer and live music.

Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle

Brynne Kelly, Robin Crail, Olivia Thaler, and Jeanne Medina had a great time supporting the 2024 Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle! With the second consecutive sold-out field, complete with more than 24,000 finishers, the first of three in the Chicago Distance Series kicked off the spring racing season with a massive success! The team leveraged onsite options to gather information on expected participant arrival times for packet pick-up, enabling us to plan for peak periods more effectively.

Introducing activity streaks for virtual events! This enhancement is designed to empower organizers to foster daily engagement among participants. As part of this update, we're excited to offer comprehensive participant account statistics, ensuring organizers can effortlessly track their most important metrics. With this feature, organizers can seamlessly monitor participant activity, driving sustained engagement and maximizing event success.

Tailor Outreach with Insights

We're excited to announce a new update aimed at enhancing community targeting capabilities for organizers. With the addition of date ranges to the Number of Participant Referrals and Amount Fundraised filters, organizers now have greater precision in targeting specific audiences within their community. This empowers organizers to tailor their outreach efforts based on specific timeframes, enabling more effective engagement strategies.

Streamline Relay Organization with Relay Enhancements

We’re excited to roll out our latest relay updates, designed to streamline team coordination and empower team captains with greater control. First among these enhancements is the introduction of Relay Components. This feature ensures that every team member knows exactly which leg of the relay they will be participating in, providing greater clarity and a more seamless experience. Team members can either choose their segment directly on the registration form or have the captain assign segments, based on the event organizer’s preferences. 

We’ve also significantly upgraded the capabilities available to team captains. With these new self-service options, captains can now easily remove team members or transition the captaincy to another member, all directly from their account. These enhancements come together to provide a more organized, efficient, and enjoyable experience for participants and organizers in relay events.

April Loading ⏳…

March was an incredible month, and we're eagerly anticipating April! We're thrilled to be supporting events like the Miami Lexus Corporate Run (we are excited to both participate in & support!), Publix Savannah Women’s Half Marathon & 5K, Vienna City Marathon, Big Sur International Marathon, Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, and more!
