I'm a physiotherapist but anytime I go to the ward to attend to in-patients, I always leave filled with admiration for nurses. My respect for nurses grows with each encounter and new knowledge of what they do in healthcare. These guys literally live with the patients in the hospital. Celebrating all nurses worldwide for being heroes in healthcare. 👏🏻👏🏻 Cheers🎉🎉🎉

It's funny, but we should be becoming more modern and digital at a time when we are actually getting healthier. Why should the number of nurses be increasing when we are actually in a world where we are getting healthier and not sicker and why are there so many pandemics (or should there be) when we should be doing better with modern medicine. But it seems as if many more people are currently ill and have a weaker immune system.

A bit past the date but we still would like to appreciate the Hildegaard Peplau's theory of interpersonal relations developed specifically for nursing: https://www.knei.space/peplau-theory-of-interpersonal-relations Almost half of century later, that theory impacting not only patient-nurse relations, but interpersonal relationships of various kinds.

Why would the WHO leave out male nurses?

What a load of garbage this organisation is! Pfizer now pushing Cancer treatments with their support and inflating their stock price. This criminal organisation needs to be shut down! The serpent in the logo is for a reason.......hidden in plain sight is their evil.

As the demand for nurses has increased manifold, there is a dire need to check the standards of nurses produced in some underdeveloped countries. Many institution throughout the world has offered BS nursing degree programmes. These institutes need to be evaluated with regards to medical facilities, curriculum, faculties etc and there shall be compromised on standard 🙂

Happy nurses day everyone. Here's my take on 200 years following Nightingale's effort to improve nursing - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/nursing-crossroads-200-years-after-nightingale-what-lies-eus%25C3%25A9bio-cdfqe/

As we celebrate nurses throughout the world let's build solutions for their demand to achieve Health for All,by 2027 the demand might be high as most leave and change profession due to frustrating working conditions . Happy Nurses Day to us.
