The data shows these programs provide a range of benefits when thoughtfully implemented. Health incentives in the form of reduced insurance premiums, gift cards, and days off not only motivate employees to take charge of their wellbeing but also lower absenteeism and healthcare costs. 3 years of health & well-being at Ruroc 🤯 First things first…Wow! How on earth has 3 years gone since we started this incentive. Receiving the offer letter for a health and well-being coach role was the most surreal, yet exciting experiences I have had. At first it was simply, we’re not sure what we want this role to be. But here’s 6 months, make the guys here at Ruroc LOVE IT and make the organisation feel the benefit of having this in place. Here we are 3 years later, over 4500 sessions delivered and nearly 200 different employees have benefited from personal training. 💪🏽 We’ve built a gym, ran god knows how many internal well-being events and the best part I feel like we are just getting started. Employee wellness is huge topic, that covers several dimensions and I’m on a mission to ensure that the physical aspect of wellness is taking as seriously as any other in the work place. What started as an employee benefit, has become a fundamental part of the employee experience here at Ruroc and I’m on mission to ensure that our employees have everything they need to live a happy, healthy life not just in the workplace, but in every aspect of their lives.
