I've talked to a lot of startups recently that are trying to hire engineers. Here’s what I've heard… Companies are struggling to find stellar engineers that go beyond the code and also believe in their mission / align well with their culture. They care about finding engineers who can truly build, not just engineer. But engineers are facing their own problems - I've spoken to a number of talented engineers who are either struggling to find jobs or feel like they could find themselves a better fit somewhere else in terms of culture, interest, education, and professional development. The problem is though, many are submitting resumes and never hearing back, they’re struggling to break through and showcase their skills, and/or they just can’t find the time in the day to find the right company for them. That's why Scope has set out to build a recruiting platform that is focused on helping great engineers connect with great startups. We want to represent motivated engineers who are looking for a premium placement service where we help you shine beyond the resume. For now, we are partnering with a select group of talented and motivated builders who want to elevate their careers. We believe that finding a perfect fit requires a more curated and hands on approach so let us be your agent and find you that job. Interested in Scope representing you? Drop a comment here or just message me directly and we can chat. By the way, we’re hiring too! Scope is actively hiring talented full-stack engineers. If you are a fit here then awesome. But if not, let's help you find the place that is.

Other companies hire software engineers in 45 days. Intervue hires software engineers in just 7 days. [ It’s founder solved a real problem & how ] This is a startup built by a software engineer who turned into an entrepreneur. Rahul Arora conducted over 2500 interviews in his 9-to-5 job as a software engineer. Struggling to conduct interviews with his limited bandwidth, he founded his $50K ARR startup. This is Intervue.io, which is revolutionising the interview scenario in India which takes maximum time in hiring. Here is how it is helping others to get their dream job: ➡️ Coding environment is prepped in <1 sec for 35+ languages, blazingly fast. This is great when you are hiring coders. ➡️ Access to an interview question bank to standardise rounds. It makes it helpful for interviewees to practise. ➡️ Intervue solves common tech interview issues like time wasted on setup and delayed feedback. ➡️ It allows you to playback 1-hour interviews in just 5 minutes to share with your team. ➡️ Feedback is automatically submitted through the platform. ➡️ Easy search makes it simple to find information about any interview. And if you are wondering how big this startup is, then hear it out 🔴It has hit $50K ARR and is on track to hit $100K ARR soon. 🔴 Moreover, it was also named a top 30 startup to watch. In my opinion, this platform has a bright future simply because its founder has faced this pain firsthand and knows exactly what users want. Also, recruitment is an ongoing process for both remote and offline hiring, hence its perennial market. 💡Have you used any other tech interview tools like this? #developer #entrepreneur #developerhiring

Hey LinkedIn community! 👋 I guess mostly in startup companies, hiring processes are usually done with referrals and connections to find an employee. Especially if it is a seed company this is true because people usually trust someone more if they have a friend employee in the company. Let's say you as a company want to hire a front-end engineer but don't know where to look. And you get a lot of applications but you can't decide which one to choose because you don't know any of them. I want to explain my idea that In those situations as above, Why don't you just open a Github repository, make it open source and let candidates build it. You would need testers and code reviewers of course. But that way you would see who is most motivated, most active, most committed and skilled enough to do it without anything in return except for the hope of getting hired. That way even before hiring someone and handling all the paperwork, you can see them on the work even before they are hired so you are sure about their skill. What do you think of this idea what would you say its ups and downs? #StartupRecruitment #OpenSourceProjects #CollaborativeHiring #InnovationInTheWorkplace
