A smart robotic thread has been developed by MIT engineers to treat brain obstructions such as strokes and aneurysms. This fine thread threads exactly across brain blood arteries. The robotic thread, which is driven by magnets, might help medical professionals treat obstructions during the critical first ninety minutes to avoid long-term harm. Remarkably, it may lessen the need for surgery and radiation exposure, increasing patient and physician accessibility to brain operations. The robotic thread moves smoothly and shields the blood vessel lining by using hydrogels and magnets.
