The issue Justin Trudeau is once again why would you lie to Canadians to both delay and coverup the Winnipeg Lab matters. You stated and defended for three plus years that nothing could be released as it would adversely effect national security. In fact it was an embarrassment on how lax and utterly useless national security was maintained by you. The biggest threat to Canadian National Security and relationships with our allies has been proven to be you. The American President referred to you as a “two faced liar” and the China one as a “spend thrift little dog”. You know this to be true every time you look in the mirror. What needs to be investigated is once again your deliberate misuse of administrative powers and lies for political gain during this matter. We now know why many of our allies have left us out of new security partnerships. It is because of you and your lies. That needs to be properly investigated as your coverup has truly confirmed that no one, not even our allies have confidence in your leadership.

Lots of brainpower in LA the week of WGC! The INTERA team has prepared some awesome, informative presentations and panel discussions. I especially wanted to shoutout Steven Humphrey, PG's presentation (Tuesday) on Seequent's Leapfrog 3D modelling software. As a non-modeler who translates results and analyses from groundwater models, Leapfrog has been a game changer to help me visualize and understand the work. More importantly, it helps stakeholders and clients visualize the groundwater model as well, shrinking the "black box" effect. From this, we've been able to better incorporate local interpretation and expertise from non-modelers. Side bonus - Steven is an effective and applied presenter, so you'll get the info you need!

To be effective in delivering real impact for people affected by conflict and disasters worldwide we must continue to push the boundaries in the humanitarian sector to strengthen the response for those who need it most. More than ever #forensic science is being used to improve this response. Advances in fields such as forensic genetics are having a concrete impact on the ground. The International Committee of the Red Cross - ICRC through its forensic expertise is helping lead the way in the humanitarian sector today.
