Control your Retail Sales person Ahmer P, he abused me on Linkedin Profile, either fire him for his unprofessional behaviour or i’ll report against you guys as well, Case has been already filed against him, You guys are Big company but what type of people you’re hiring, Kind Regards, Arshan.
Her legacy will continue to inspire athletes for years to come, and her contributions to the sport and female empowerment are commendable.
Cheers to Kelley for her remarkable career and the great things ahead!
Rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama could become the first professional basketball player to earn $1 billion on the court.
The 7-foot 4-inch tall French phenom, who turned 20 on Jan. 4, was selected by the San Antonio Spurs with the top pick in the 2023 National Basketball Association draft. The team signed him to a four-year, $55.2 million rookie contract, the largest possible deal under the US league’s current labor agreement.
The pact represents a first step toward what could be a historically lucrative playing career. While several well-known basketball players have become rich with help from endorsement deals and other business ventures, Wembanyama, who grew up in the Paris suburb of Le Chesnay, stands to enter the ranks of the ultra-wealthy purely by lacing up his sneakers and stepping onto the hardwood night in and night out.

Juliet Slot is doing some great things at Arsenal.
Our Women's Sport Trust research into brand sponsorship showcased how female focused brands represent a huge opportunity. IL MAKIAGE chose Arsenal Women to launch its New York based make-up line in the UK.
The partnership was most successful in driving brand consideration, with 31 per cent of those aware of the sponsorship more likely to consider buying from the brand as a result, compared to an average of 20 per cent across women’s sport sponsorship. A brilliant case-study.
Side note, I led the agency team that launched the WSL in 2011 and we were having the conversation about audience and match attendees then.....Why it's taken so long I don't understand.
As Juliet says this data is imperative if we are to attract more brands. In my recent conversations with clubs in the WSL it sounds like this is now happening so the next few years should finally see bigger brand partnerships unlocked. Up & on... nothing in women's sport ever seems to move as quickly as we would like!
Juliet Slot has been a game-changer for Arsenal F.C. She was appointed as Chief Commercial Officer in late 2021 and the club have been making positive strides, especially across the women's game, ever since.
She enlightened the #sportsindustry at Twickenham Stadium on how the club approach ticketing and data, the importance of communicating differently to a female fanbase vs a male audience, and how some of the tactics applied from her previous tenure at Ascot Racecourse are now bearing fruit in women's football. ⤵

#TBT - in the past 3 months, Special Olympics Maryland athletes have been to space and back for the 2023 Summer Games, led the way at our Brave in the Attempt Talks, and shined bright at our 3rd annual Torch Gala. As we gear up for another jam-packed fall season, we want to take this time (in the dog days of summer) to look back at all of the accomplishments and highlights from the spring and summer. https://bit.ly/3pO1GTb
I was honoured to be asked by Karen Carney MBE OLY to be one of her panel of experts on the review into the future of women's football. So many people gave of their best as they told the review about their experiences, their hard work, their hopes for the future. Karen is right that many people deserve huge credit for this - it takes a village! There's a lot to digest in the report, and I'll be writing more about it in due course, but for now I want to stress the report's headline and flag one set of the recommendations.
First, the headline: the report sets out an ambitious vision of women's football in this country as a future global leader creating economic and social value for all. I agree. It truly has this potential and we should all be very excited about this.
And the parts I want to flag for now are the report's great recommendations about the women's football workforce and about diversity in the women's game.
The report is unequivocal in calling for The FA to address the lack of diversity across the women's game both on and off the pitch - and to do so with urgency. Work is under way - many sports are, for example, addressing having visible role models, and The FA has launched measures to reach girls from inner city locations and from diverse backgrounds. The report acknowledges this work but says The FA needs to do more.
As a starting point, the report says The FA must review the impact of existing diversity initiatives in football. I'm familiar with these initiatives - all of them are well-meaning and not without effect, but the landscape is fragmented. At Women in Football we are clear that the football authorities need to take a more integrated approach. This will provide clarity and consisitency and ensure that the efforts of clubs to become more diverse and inclusive are properly targetted.
Then, the report calls on The FA to establish proper data on the demographics of the football workforce. Having worked in the field of diversity in football for five years, I am all too aware that we cannot build a proper EDI strategy without having decent data about where we are now. And we need to look at all metrics - gender, ethnicity, all other the protected characteristics, and socio-economic background.
The report then calls on The FA to use this data to build a full workforce strategy for the entire women's game.
Finally, there's a wealth of recommendations in the report about the employment conditions of professional players. The report's vision is of a fully professional environment with gold standard physical and mental health provision, a world-leading parental package and best-in-class career transition - amongst other things.
Women in Football is already working with its partners across the game on many initiatives that will help deliver the vision of the report, and we'll continue to do so tirelessly in order to deliver the report's vision of a globally leading game.

Amazing read from #KarenCarney and the team. It can only get better, unfair bans against the womens game has what had made this risiculously hard for the likes of EARTHA POND Fara Williams MBE #AlexScott and many more #inspirational#women
People ask how will this grow, who will pay to watch this and many more negative questions instead of asking “What can we do to #support#makeadifference#makethechange ?”
Well let me tell you it’s not just girls and women they #inspire it’s boys and men too.
More now then ever the #Womensgame needs to be televised the #nextgeneration and #parents they have inspired travel day after day, week after week to training and matches and it’s physically impossible to always be able to get to a live game especially when they can be changed time/day at a moments notice. The know this first hand…… 💖💙
What about the sponsorship deals from the clubs sports brand? #nikefootball#puma#adidasfootball#newbalance#macron to name a few, please tell me how any club that hasn’t done this already (most haven’t) can divide the sponsorship fairly if no matter what size or fit shirt someone buys if you add a female players name on the back, you have to add it as it’s a personalised name not a player.
Also whilst everything is moving forward and positive changes to support the moving forward we have this very dark time ahead first for some Women in SportWomen in Football with the #wsl & #FootballAssociation allowing clubs to choose to not run U18’s or U21’s #wsl#academy thinking they can go to tier 4/3/2 etc to find these young players however these young players not being given a chance when they haven’t even been allowed an opportunity to show what they can do in a womens sector game.
Firstly clubs like #mancity#arsenal#chelsea have a reputation and the money so they could see it as a wasted entity, but what about the smaller clubs that don’t have the top reputation and a lot less money it becomes a battle of money, to buy a new 1st team player or basic money for a #wsla programme.
This is a much bigger problem than just the young females out there but also for clubs like Everton Football Club women, West Ham United FC women, Reading Football Club women Leicester City Football ClubNewcastle United Football Club women the list could go on and on.
