💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗 This October, the emblematic pink ribbons appear as the impact of breast cancer is brought to the forefront of national conversation. As reported by the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation, 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. In 2023, an estimated 297,790 women and 2,800 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. Fortunately, due to the steadfast support and continuous progress in early detection and treatment methods, we have witnessed a remarkable surge in breast cancer survival rates in recent years. Today, the United States boasts a community of over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors, a testament to the strides made in the fight against breast cancer. Make an impact today by spreading awareness, support, and encouraging others to get screened. Together we can make a positive change. 5 Days left and any donation helps! There is still time to purchase tickets! How your donation helps: Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened in 1962. And we won't stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands of children. Join us! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.

Awareness for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital- Cancer has effected all of us at one time or another. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for U.S. children past infancy. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has increased children's survivability from 20% 50 years ago to 80% today. In order to help raise funds for many families and children whose lives have been affected by cancer, I will be competing the toughest 50k race in the USA; the Speedgoat Mountain Race in Utah July 19-20th. Covering the 11,500ft of incline with a 45lb ALICE pack before cutoff time. "That's my goal; a little pain shared is pain lessened for another." Donate at the link below: https://lnkd.in/dvnRPzEb Please bring attention to this by sharing and giving if you can. V/R Your friend, Steve *Written by a human* Get fit while raising funds for
