Only at #DisneyParks can cast members row together past iconic mountains and mansions as the sun rises around Rivers of America before the first guest enters the park. Cast members take great pride in carrying on the legacy of Canoe Races Of the World (also known as C.R.O.W.) – Disney’s longest-running cast tradition that dates back to 1963 at Disneyland Park. Did this myself in the early 2000's. As an early riser who always was at work early to avoid the traffic in So. Cal, the Canoe Races at Disneyland were a great start to my day. As tiring as it would be, it always gave me an extra boost of endorphins to start my day. I loved going from these races on to my shifts at Innoventions. Always sad when race season was over.
I had an awesome time doing this way back when 😄do you remember this Patrick McMullen?
I agree! 💯

1moParticipated in the early morning Canoe Races at Disneyland many years back im the early 2000s. Great people and such a unique (though exhausting) memory. I always enjoyed the funny team names, like AnimatOARS, Disney HeROWS, etc…
