Very excited to share that I had the chance to attend a few weeks ago our Resveratrol-Lift VIP launch dinner with 30 LA-based creators at the beautiful Tappan gallery. This exclusive event took place during Art Frieze, an exclusive international art fair hosted in LA. Tappan is known for showcasing contemporary work by emerging artists and their exclusive LA-creative scene. Big contrats to Christine Pierson and her team, this was a very special occasion to celebrate art & beauty!

It was a true pleasure and a privilege to host co-founder of art gallery Sakhile&Me, Sakhile Matlhare, PhD, at our J.P. Morgan Frankfurt offices earlier this week. It was amazing to hear more about the gallery’s mission to support artists and researchers from Africa and its diaspora. But also to gain an insight into how Sakhile sees her role as both an educator and a gallerist, how her background as a sociologist has informed the way she’s built the collaborative space and how it helps articulate how art, education and activism are connected. "#Museums are believed to house #art's best masterpieces thoughtfully composed by the most talented of people. That's why a Massachusetts gallery that specializes in bad art is gaining traction." If art is subjective, how do we know when it is bad? This is a question to ponder while watching this video. The Museum of Bad Art exhibits these pieces which would otherwise have been lost to landfills. Since we live in a world of opposites, if there is good art then bad art exists too. But, how do we know bad art when we see it? Are there universal criteria which dictate what makes bad art, and if so, what are they? Who has the final say in any of this? I can envision #MuseumEducation programs developed and implemented from any or all of these questions. What are your thoughts about all of this?
