What an absolutely spent evening it is. Thank you United People Global for inviting me as a delegate to speak at #unitedvoices. The theme is Skilling the Youth for a Transformative and Sustainable World - a conversation with young people who are making a positive impact all around the world and engage in an insightful discussion delving into the fields of Mental and Physical Health, Technology, Finance, Agriculture, Art, and Entrepreneurship, exploring the challenges, opportunities, and how young people can utilize these skills for a transformative and more sustainable world. This is in line with the International Youth Day which is celebrated annually on August 11. I spoke about the various challenges social activists face and my project on mental health and breaking the stereotypes and taboo around therapy and and the means of ways of effective communication play an important role in balancing your mental health. About the United Voices:    United Voices: What’s Going On also referred to as ‘UV’ is focused on learning more about people and organizations that are part of United People Global and creating opportunities to collaborate with others in their personal and professional projects. Once a month we bring together people from all over the world to interact about globally relevant issues. Since we started in 2020 till date, we conducted over 40 successful sessions with about 80- 100 participants across both conversations. The sessions are a 90-minute engagement, and we anticipate 40-60 attendees, who are UPG Champions, members, and other leaders in social change. The conversation will be conducted via Zoom. Please bear in mind that we run UV like a TV program, so the segments are tight because we want it to be interactive and give people a chance to touch on different topics.  #unitedpeopleglobal #unitedvoices

Good morning lovely #LinkedInGlobal. Self-care is Life-care We spend our time worrying about what life will bring, often forgetting the world we are living in. Time waits for no one, that's for sure. Individuals, we need to learn. Together, everyone achieves more. Health is wealth. Sustainable Development Goal 3 is key. Health-care is at the top of our agenda. We must all make time to do it. So live your life in the here and now and appreciate that we cannot relive the past. Learn to focus on dreams, goals, and objectives without burning out your purpose. Self-care is healthcare. We must see it through, because no one can make your mind unwind unless it's you. Monday will be here in a flash, so make family time and make the pledge to dedicate some personal time. Appreciate everyone deserves their own self-care quality time to unwind.
