GET- Process @ Worley | LinkedIn Content Creator | Chemical Engineering Enthusiast | Business Strategies & Consulting | Content Writer
Chemical Engineering Undergrad? 🤓 Then wait, I have something to tell you... 💡 I'm just finishing my first week as a GET-Process Engineer, and I've already learned a lot about the field. 👷 Here are 5 things that I think every chemical engineering undergrad should know about process engineering: 1. Process engineering is a multidisciplinary field. This means that process engineers need to have a strong foundation in a variety of subjects, including 🧪 chemistry, 🧫 physics, 📐 mathematics, and ⚙️ engineering. They also need to be able to apply their knowledge to real-world problems. 🌎 2. Process engineers 🕵️♂️ are problem solvers. Industrial processes are complex and often have problems that need to be solved. Process engineers use their knowledge and skills to identify and solve these problems. This can involve troubleshooting equipment problems, 🔩 optimizing process conditions, or developing new processes. 💡 3. Process engineers are creative.💡 Process engineers need to be able to come up with new and innovative solutions to problems. This is because industrial processes are constantly evolving, and process engineers need to be able to adapt their designs and operations to meet new challenges. 📈 4. Process engineers👷♂️ are team players. Process engineers work with other engineers, scientists, and technicians to design and operate industrial processes. This requires good communication and collaboration skills. 🗣️ 5. Process engineers are committed to 🦺 safety. Process engineers design and operate industrial processes in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. This is important to protect the health and safety of workers and the environment. 🌎 I'm excited to learn more about process engineering in the coming weeks and months. I'm confident that this is a field that I will enjoy and be successful in. 🤓 Ps: This is a picture of me when I got assigned my first workstation post-induction program. #231of365 #process #engineering #chemicalengineering #college
