Here is a 3-minute Mindfulness Challenge and Exercise for you whenever you are feeling stuck or looking for an answer. 1. Take a paper and pen. 2. Ask the question as if you were asking a mentor 3. Free-write the answer on a timer for 3-minutes. You may notice that in this way, you will be able to bring mindful attention to your thoughts. Paying attention to how we respond is where we have power in our life. This practice is mindfulness in action. Keep in mind it does take practice: when faced with a situation, take a moment to breathe, slow down, then respond. Repeat the next time a response is needed.
