Today is National Safer Internet day, a day to raise awareness and celebrate online safety. Each year focuses on a different theme that looks specifically at issues affecting young people online. This year the theme is 'Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online'. As more and more of our lives are moving online, ensuring our children and young people are safe whilst using the internet should be a top priority for us all. This is not just about adults setting filters on the content that can be accessed, but about equipping children and young people with the skills they will need to keep themselves safe now and once they too are adults.  What could you do today to help make the internet a safer place?  #SaferInternetDay #SID2024
