What a week at 𝐒𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 for SFS! We attended key notes, breakout sessions and happy hours, and we had the opportunity to meet and connect in-person with many colleagues and new friends. The week for us culminated in our competition in the Snowflake Start Up Grand Finale, alongside SignalFlare.ai and BigGeo. We offer our congratulations to SignalFlare for winning the grand prize. We remain pleased to be one of the top 3 Finalists, as with this status comes with up to $250,000 of funding from Snowflake Ventures and mentorship from the NYSE, and go-to-market opportunities with Snowflake. Many thanks to the judges Benoit Dageville, Brad Gerstner, Lynn Martin, and Denise Persson. In terms of additional learnings from the conference, we paid special attention to the considerations around AI and new applications to the investment management industry. As a matter of fact, Snowflake is now referencing their platform as the “𝐀𝐈 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝.” With Snowflake, it is now easy to train your own LLMs to solve targeted problems, and add value with new and powerful capabilities. Snowflake’s new 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐱 𝐀𝐈 solutions will power the next generation of AI applications.
