By default event don't propagate beyond Shadow root of the component instance. So we need to set Event.bubbles and Event.composed as True. Event.bubbles allows the control to move up till root of the DOM tree and Event.composed allows the cotrol to move out of the Shadow Dom. With the help of these boundries we can able to communicate grand parent component in LWC.
