In the world of Artificial Intelligence, there's a common misconception that success is based on neural networks. At Voicemod, we've proven this idea wrong. We have built the world leader in a very hard AI problem with a perfect mix of technical skills, big dreams, strong belief, deep care for customers, and a brave, very human approach. Jaime Bosch, your recent post has touched me deeply, igniting an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards you, Juan Bosch and Fernando Bosch. This fast-paced journey of scaling both business and AI technology has transformed me into a more capable entrepreneur, AI researcher, and most importantly, a better person. In the genesis of the Foro IA with Fernando Polo, I discovered that Google Brain, the bedrock of AI at Google, was established in 2011—the very year I embarked on my first AI startup with Valeriya Zaytseva. Back then, I couldn't comprehend the visionary progress made by that team (Adria Sansaloni, Jerónimo Tocado, Roman Ortin Albero) or understand how much I lacked in knowledge at that time. Since then, I've been fortunate to find myself in the company of individuals with the foresight to recognize the pivotal role of AI in those early days. In 2012, thanks to the forward-thinking vision of Alberto Gutierrez, Juan Luis Hortelano, and Ruben Colomer Flos, we entered Plug and Play Tech Center(Silicon Valley), where we met influential figures like Saeed Amidi and Alireza Masrour. This experience changed everything, showing me how substantial funding combined with the cutting-edge power of AI can completely transform an entire industry. Come 2013, Paloma Castellano and Gary Stewart from Wayra opened our eyes to the corporate perspective, as articulated by seasoned professionals like Andrés Saborido, José Homobono and Gonzalo Martín-Villa. We learned firsthand about the formidable challenges of reshaping corporate processes, structures, and tools, and how AI had long been an unfulfilled promise. By 2018, Voicemod underscored a vital truth: AI's triumph isn't just rooted in cutting-edge technology, but also in the strength of a cohesive team (kudos to Alejandro Fuster Baggetto and Andrey Kramer) and a crystal-clear business alignment. Over a decade of AI exploration later, the boundaries of what's achievable with AI have expanded faster than ever before and I enjoy more than ever imagining the future ahead, thanks to trailblazers like Hector Badal, Oscar del Rio, Oscar Martínez, Juan Rivero, Miguel Angel Anton or Begoña Sanchez Esquibel.
