Lately, we have been researching how to contact active investors in life-sciences. This is because many biotech companies face difficulties when the initial investment money runs out or investors tighten their belts. They've been loosening lately but many biotech are still struggling. Outbound can be a part of the solution. With investors, warm intros are better, obviously, but making your name known can't hurt. We recently explored the the cell and gene therapy area by compiling a list of active investors who might be interested. Essentially, my view is That today there is a dire need for the convergence of three critical cohorts, #PR & #Comms Professionals plus #Media Journos on a common platform for greater engagement and understanding of the dynamics of each others' roles. While we have been acknowledging it's a symbiotic relationship, lot of work needs to be done to get everyone on the same page. From the story: "I think we need to look at building communities of journos & PR Folks. For far too long, we have stayed in separate groups. I think if anyone succeeds in building such a platform where all three PR, Comms & Journos converge, it will take care of many of the issues that exist today.
