#PolydeckProTip Experiencing a lack of on-spec material? It may be time to consider your material flow speed. Excessive material flow speeds can lead to less efficient processing, more damage to equipment, and loss in quality of output. Simple adjustments like adjusting screen incline angles, while effective, may not always be an option, like banana screens with fixed curvatures. Dams are an effective way of managing material flow and can be a fairly hands-off method of ensuring the right flow speed. Dams typically 1", 2", or 3" tall, can be added or molded directly onto modular screen media, and are highly effective at slowing material down on slurry-fed or incline decks. They can even be oriented towards the feed end to improve the wear life of your panels. Think dams might be the solution you need?
