Talking with teenagers can be tough but it's really important. Parents should try to listen a lot and remember what it was like to be young, while teens should feel okay sharing what's on their minds. It's all about parents and teens learning to get each other, respecting their differences, and knowing it's okay to not always agree. Chatting about everyday stuff can help make the harder conversations easier. Both sides need to give a little — parents give trust, and teens give openness. It’s like building a bridge from both sides, meeting in the middle, so everyone gets along and understands each other better. #ParentTeenTalk #TeenCommunication #FamilyUnderstanding #BuildingBridges #TeenTalks #ParentsAndTeens #EffectiveCommunication #ListenToTeens #ParentingTeens

21 Days of Public Questions: Day 20 🔎 As a parent how do I communicate effectively with my child? ➡ Most parents have the best intentions for their children and want to provide their child with an environment that adds to the overall growth and development of the child but as humans, judging is our nature. We often see adults labeling or stereotyping children as shy, not talkative, hyperactive, etc. This should be avoided as it stops the child from exploring their full potential and self-discovery. Many parents think or perceive, that they are communicative with their children, but it often includes judgment and advice, sometimes it's all about space, and children want to be heard. Not being able to express themselves fully or feeling unsafe in sharing their issues leads to a child relying on external sources of information like the internet, social media, or nonreliable adults, often leading to major issues and concentration problems in a child's life. #parenting #information #impact #edusex
