"We've all heard the negative comments - 'you're too fat,' 'you're too skinny,' 'you're too tall,' 'you're too short,' 'you're not pretty enough,' The list goes on and on. But the truth is, none of these comments are productive or helpful. They only serve to make people feel bad about themselves and perpetuate unrealistic beauty standards. So why do we do it❓ Why do we feel the need to criticize or judge someone's appearance❓ Maybe it's because we're insecure about our own bodies, or we feel pressure to conform to societal norms. Maybe we think it's funny, or we don't realize the impact our words can have. Whatever the reason, it's time to stop. ✅Let's embrace our differences . ✅Let's lift each other up instead of tearing each other down. ✅Let's be kind, compassionate, and understanding. If you've ever been body shamed, know that you're not alone. It's not your fault, and you don't deserve it. You are beautiful, inside and out. When others treat you negatively, but you remain positive and do not respond negatively toward them, that is inner strength. You are strong enough not to allow others' negativity to take away your positivity. However, individuals who respond with negativity because they cannot control the negative emotions that manifest within them when others treat them poorly. Sometimes it can be challenging to control your negativity because you might have the urge to want to hurt others as they had hurt you. 🌟 Breaking Dysfunctional Cycles: Embracing Conscious Awareness 🌟 Ever wonder why we, as a society, find ourselves stuck in repetitive dysfunctional patterns, only recognizing them after the damage is done? It's because we tend to alienate, ridicule, and shun those who dare to shine a light on these uncomfortable truths. We blame our discomfort on them, failing to acknowledge that it stems from our subconscious recognition of the dysfunction we're perpetuating. In our rush to escape this discomfort, we unwittingly push away the very solution we need. It's time to do better, to confront these patterns head-on.
