Great to see the California Department of Health Care Services double down on brick and mortar facility (BHCIP) grantees The TransLatin@ Coalition and The Los Angeles Centers for Alcohol and Drug Abuse (L.A. CADA), and add recognizable names like Homeboy Industries, SPECIAL SERVICES GROUP LLC to the ranks of Sycamores! Notable (and by comparison), community health centers/FQHC's will also hear this week about $650 million in Equity & Practice Transformation investments in their population health management and value-based payment infrastructure, which also looks at behavioral health services, screening, and integration. Lots to like about these investments so those with mental health or substance use challenges can access care.
