Hey....It's SDOH Talk! Thank you for the development of the new SDOH Toolkit ONC and AHIMA for sharing. I believe this is one crucial component of many: "How will individuals from diverse populations participate in the process, especially individuals from historically disadvantaged communities, those experiencing systematic barriers, or those with high needs? Remember to include diverse populations as you navigate this process from leaders, speakers, practitioners, and ultimately the community. Data is a great story teller but so is the human experience.
A new ONC toolkit provides health information professionals with a resource to implement social determinants of health initiatives. Read about it in this open-access article of the Journal of AHIMA: https://hubs.la/Q027MLq70

How do you create a great survey, for you and your participants? It may be more complicated than you think, but it can be done! I spoke with Molly Bryant on the Vibrent Health podcast, People of Precision Health, about how to balance participant burden and the need for high-quality data. Give it a listen, and let me know what you think in the comments below!
How do health researchers make it easy for participants to answer their surveys? How do we avoid survey fatigue, non-response, and inaccurate answers? In our latest episode of People of Precision Health, our resident Survey Methodologist Megan Ruxton, PhD, addresses these questions and more to show us the science behind asking questions and gaining responses. https://lnkd.in/ezgwikWx #healthresearch #patientengagement #surveys
