90% of my inbound leads come through carousels. I hear ya: 1. "Carousels take long to create" 2. "Carousels are hard to do" 3. "Carousels are dead" Let me debunk that: 1. You can create them fast if you know what to do 2. Now you've got yourself a carousel cheatsheet ;) 3. Anything is declared dead if it doesn't work (yet) My last 3 (repurposed) carousels generated: → 200k+ views → 30+ inbound leads → 1500+ new followers "But your carousels look nice". Ignore design for a sec. Focus on simplifying complexity. In other words: Get your content right first. THEN focus on design. I've seen carousels with plain text going viral. Not because they looked nice. Because people: - Learned from them (actionable) - Understood them (simplicity) - Finished them (engaging) If you want to teach and attract, keep your carousels simple, engaging, and actionable. Here's a cheatsheet of how I create carousels ↓ PS. I dropped 3 links to high-performing carousels in the comments. Maybe they'll help you today.
📌 "Why not explain carousels in a carousel?" I'm testing this cheatsheet format so maybe one day I can do a cheatsheet on creating cheatsheets.
Figma been my number #1 tool for the last few years. What do you recommend on an illustration front if you're not a designer yourself?
No matter what system or content one chooses, you have to be willing to put in the effort and love to craft content that is valuable for the readers. If it was easy, everyone would do it.
I'm not going to lie Nick, you do have some very nice looking carousels. I have been seeing the same thing about carousels being dead, but I still see people continuously posting them, including me. I like your cheat sheet format and I have been playing around with the same kind of idea on creating some sort of cheat sheet.
Carousel king
Absolute banger. I like carousel because it forces micro-commitment
You are the only exception to my no carousels rule. Like anything there is an inflexion point of it being good enough to attract people And to have that you need true skill Which you do -> and I’m sure your Clients love it also 😊
Appreciate the cheat sheet. I'm not a carousel guy myself but I have used them and I see the benefit. The breakdown here is excellent and am willing to give it a shot.
simply and talk to one person - trumps everything.. Love this shade of green Nick Broekema Now, you're making me green with envy 🤣
