I’m proud to be on the board of InReach, a scrappy and innovative trans-led tech nonprofit whose services are more urgently needed than ever. InReach connects LGBTQ+ people facing persecution or discrimination to safe, verified resources. I hope you'll donate today, for one of these reasons or countless more:
♦In protest of the surge of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and to increase resource access for the diverse LGBTQ+ community.
♦To connect LGBTQ+ asylum seekers, refugees, and other immigrants to verified, safe legal services, translation and interpretation assistance and language classes, trauma-informed mental health care providers, and more.
♦To support LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness and others facing family or community rejection due to their identity to access safe housing, food and clothing, drop-in centers, affirming spiritual support and other critical resources.
♦To provide a hub for transgender and nonbinary people to lifesaving gender affirming care, support groups, safe housing, gender-neutral restrooms and legal providers with expertise in working with trans, nonbinary, and genderqueer clients.
♦To help other LGBTQ+ people facing persecution and discrimination across the country find verified, affirming support near them.
It can be difficult to know how best to respond to the escalating attacks against your LGBTQ+ neighbors, coworkers, friends, and loved ones. InReach is a critical firewall making sure that those in need are able to access real-time resources to survive and thrive. Please donate today:
