As more and more brands start to come on the Roblox Platform & Join the "Metaverse" I start to notice something. What makes your brand fun or different?... 🤔 The unfortunate reality is that companies are presented with buzzwords to convince them to join Roblox & Fortnite and at the end of the day there is a game that Isn't fun and people forget it exist after a week. The "Metaverse" Isn't another world to where we want to bring aspects of real life to us, it's an escape from reality and the real world where people want to have fun however way they see fit. Roblox is the closest platform to the true vision of the metaverse; a persistent, immersive, shared, 3D space that re-imagines how users can connect, communicate, play, shop, and express themselves. In a sense, Roblox can be viewed as the public beta of the metaverse. And Roblox is already emerging as the primary social platform for Gen Alpha and younger Gen Z. With 72 million daily active users and approximately 350 million monthly active users, all of whom spend about 2.4 hours per day on the platform, Roblox is truly the most engaging platform on the Internet. And with a user base that is increasingly getting older, with 40% of DAU now over the age of 16, Roblox is no longer just a platform for young kids. But how did the Roblox of today come to be? Roblox has hinted that it may allow the sale of physical goods as well as digital UGC, and this video from Cathy Hackl of David Baszucki at Code Conference implies it’s likely to happen. Gens A and Z will have no problem embracing 3D spatial shopping. • they tend to have a heightened spatial awareness and are more adept at navigating 3D spaces, mainly due to gaming. • their ability to think multi-dimensionally means virtual shopping will feel far from unnatural. Infact it will be instinctive. • the high degree of virtual socialising on Roblox makes on-platform shopping akin to going into town or to the mall to shop with friends. • the physical will come with a digital version or benefit, allowing them to replicate their identity in digital social spaces. Roblox will use ‘voice to build’ features in Roblox editor to build full scale envrionments 👇 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝟭. Voice prompts can be used to 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐭𝐬 2.
