Last week I shared Naomi-isms which are my best practices, frameworks and processes about how to be a killer Product Manager and get things done at work. Today, I posted about navigating towards your Northstar. By “Northstar” I mean: someone’s ideal, ultimate professional destination — basically where you aspire to be in the long-term. What is your Northstar? Your Northstar: https://lnkd.in/g9k23eDy I also wrote more about feeling like “which of these things is not like the others”. I used to think that being different (not being technical, not looking like everyone in the room, not knowing what I wanted to do) was something that I needed to fix. But what if being different is not only ok, but a good thing? Be Different: https://lnkd.in/ghxZQnjj #productmanagement #womenintech
I learned about Naomi-ism during my time Meta and found them incredibly insightful. My time there was short but I’m glad I can keep learning from you, Naomi Gleit.
Awesome read! Would love to learn about your career path before being the Head of Product at Meta. Seeing others pathways drive inspiration.
Thank you for sharing these publicly!!

2yI love the framework you have shared on optimizing. Some of us do this unconsciously but it’s always good to have a framework which can be deliberately applied. If possible, one should try and revisit this annually (if not quarterly) could be helpful in maintaining harmony with inner self . Once you start optimizing for what matters to you, life becomes blissful. 😀
