My favorite Naomi-ism is Extreme Clarity. Extreme Clarity is when everyone is on the same page. It does not mean that everyone agrees about what to do — it means that everyone shares the same understanding of the facts. Without it, we just waste time talking past each other, disagreeing about things we agree on, and making decisions in the absence of full understanding. 2 tips: 1. Visual - I always have a visual in every meeting to make sure everyone is talking about the same thing. 2. Lists - Number your lists, rather than using bullets. This allows people to refer to a bullet by number, for example “I disagree with 2.” More Extreme Clarity tips on instagram.com/naomigleit or naomi.com

I loved your tip on real-time editing to make sure the meeting doesn't end and leave you with the "wait, what did we just agree to?" How do you make sure this works for really senior / time poor execs who might be distracted during a meeting?

I always project my screen if it’s my meeting too - so as I take notes and action items I make sure I capture everyone’s input properly and get agreement! Totally agree

Thank you for sharing! A picture is worth a thousand words! And I couldn’t agree more about using numbers Vs bullets!
