I have been a foodie right from my childhood days. I loved to munch on some snacks all the time, also a reason why I was overweight then. 𝐈 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 in my way such as adding a twist. I used to break an egg & add it to the popular Maggie noodles to make it a tastier noodle scramble. 🍳🍜 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. While I was helping my father in his banquet hall business, it helped me understand that this was a lot connected with my passion. During my graduation & post-graduation, I stayed in a hostel for 5 years. We had our hostel mess or what you also call the canteen & I developed a good relationship with the cooks there. I often spent time with them, had good-humored conversations, sat with them, observed how they worked & learned quite a lot. Seeing my enthusiasm the college appointed me as the mess-in-charge. 🏨🍲 As part of this role, I felt this was more like my favorite area of work as it entailed being in the kitchen, setting the venue, supervising work & having a good conversation with everyone around. This also allowed me to taste the food to check if something was missing & to give a rating based on the various quality parameters. I used to do these like a breeze during my post-graduation time. After that, as we got better, we organized many big conferences. 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠. I had so much fun taking up projects & executing with a proper plan wherein I used to communicate with hotels like Taj or coordinate to get the catering done. After doing this umpteen number of times I realized that this is what I want to do in my life. 🎉📋 From knowing about 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, then came 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. In the food manufacturing business, I went ahead to understand the concept behind the packaging of food when I went to multiple grocery stores. I was fascinated to see how the packaged food reached the end customers through distribution processes & liked this very much. 🍱🛒 So after much research & learning in this area, I eventually decided to start a packaged food manufacturing business. This is how 𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 Regal Kitchen Foods Ltd & 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. I am sure you would love to know when was that moment when I knew that I was meant to do business. Last week, our I&SS group, including food service, hospitality, Quick food, retail and pest elimination departments, gathered with 75 colleagues in beautiful Yilan to conduct the sales meeting and team building activities. This was the first large-scale event after the organizational integration, and everyone was energetic. Many colleagues who had not seen each other for a long time were very happy! The I&SS group has 121 colleagues and owns the most company vehicles in the business unit, so the meeting started with a safety moment. Then I reported to everyone on this year’s performance and highlights. I am very grateful for the team’s efforts, especially the food service and hospitality departments have double digit sales growth. In addition, I also promised on this platform that my goals are: 1. The cultivation and development of company talents, whether it is vertical or horizontal development, to give everyone more opportunities in career development 2. Our business group runs through the entire food industry chain, so the synergy effect of each department can definitely produce an effect of 1+1>2, which can deliver more value and create more value for our customers 3. We have an excellent professional team. Ecolab’s business is people’s business. We are very different from our competitors, so we have to focus on growth and maintain reasonable profits, so that our company, customers can achieve sustainable development, protect the environment and other important resources and improve food safety, exert 100% positive positive impact, and make the world cleaner, safer and healthier to protect people and what’s vital resources. After I unveiled our bright future, different small teams brought their work sharing. Although everyone’s work content was different, they were all based on value sales and excellent service. Provide customers with comprehensive solutions to solve their pain points and protect customer brands. Through the wonderful sharing of colleagues, each colleague has a better understanding of other colleagues’ work and share and learn from each other. I am very pleased to see everyone’s active questioning in Q&A. The next knowledge king quiz activity, everyone was focused and actively participated. The scene was enthusiastic and passionate. They couldn’t stop. They had a deeper understanding of other teams’ products and food safety knowledge. The next day’s team building activity, under the design of the organizer, each group had to complete different challenges. These fun activities not only enriched our knowledge and skills, but also allowed us to steal half a day in a beautiful environment. Each team also had more opportunities to communicate and share each other’s life and work stories. The two-day and one-night event quickly passed in everyone’s happy laughter. Through this activity, we saw that our team have many talents. In the future on Ecolab’s stage, we will definitely be able to shine more brightly!
