"Kind people are my kind of people." On my way to work today, I saw a guy on a bike wearing this t-shirt, and it really struck a chord with me. In the corporate world, we often talk about hard skills, KPIs, and business metrics. But it's important to remember that kindness isn't just a soft skill—it's a superpower. Whether you're leading a team, managing clients, or working through challenging projects, the way we treat others can make all the difference. Kindness fosters collaboration, builds trust, and makes even the most stressful situations easier to navigate. In a world that's constantly pushing for more, being kind is a quiet, yet powerful way to lead and succeed. After all, when we work with empathy and respect, we create teams that are stronger, more resilient, and more connected. Because at the end of the day, kind people are truly the kind of people I want to work with. #CorporateCulture #Leadership #Empathy #KindnessInBusiness #linkedinforcreators #linkedinforcreator #linkedincommunity #linkedin #thoughtsharing #corporate #jobs #joblife #jobsearch #9to5 #branding #brandmanagement #marketing #productmanagement #prrsonalbranding

In today’s fast-paced, results-driven world, it’s easy to focus solely on personal achievements. But in my journey, I’ve learned that true success often comes when we step outside of ourselves and focus on helping others succeed. Being selfless in your career doesn’t mean neglecting your goals—it means aligning them with a greater purpose. When you mentor, collaborate, and genuinely invest in others’ growth, the results are extraordinary. Teams thrive. Relationships deepen. Opportunities multiply. I’ve seen firsthand how acts of selflessness—like taking time to support a colleague, sharing knowledge, or celebrating someone else’s wins—create a ripple effect. It not only builds trust and respect but also fosters an environment where everyone wins. So, I encourage you: be selfless in your career. Put others first. Watch the impact it has—not just on your career but on your life. Let’s lead with heart, empower one another, and redefine success. #Leadership #Success #Selflessness #Collaboration #CareerGrowth #Teamwork #Empowerment #LeadWithHeart

You’ve probably heard the saying: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” And it’s TRUE. 💡 If there’s something big you want to do—whether it’s growing your career, transforming your team, or taking on a major project—you’re not going to do it alone. Great things require collaboration, support, and the unique strengths of those around you. 🌟 AND! Here’s the added bonus of having a team: When you bring together people with different skills, gifts, and talents, you’re not just investing in your goal. You’re investing in them. There’s nothing like seeing the magic that happens when you combine ideas, solve problems together, and create something greater than what any one person could achieve on their own. ✨ So, if you’re working on something big this new year, don’t try to carry the weight alone. Find your people. Lean on their strengths. Empower them to lead in their lane while you lead in yours. Today, I had an interesting conversation with a former client—now a good friend—about what really drives professional fulfillment. It got me thinking about the different layers that contribute to feeling truly satisfied at work. For me, professional fulfillment comes from a combination of factors that go beyond financial rewards: 👥 Colleagues: Working with a team of talented, motivated people who challenge and inspire each other. 💼 Projects: Taking on interesting, impactful projects that push boundaries and allow room for creativity and innovation. 🏢 Company: Being part of an organization that embraces risk, values experimentation, and supports learning through trial and error. 🤝 Clients: Collaborating with forward-thinking clients who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo and encourage new ideas. It’s about growing together, making a meaningful impact, and contributing to something bigger. That’s what motivates me. What drives your fulfillment at work? #career #leadership #growth #innovation #workculture

“If you can do a full time job in 4 days - go for it”. This is what I have always told the people on my team. Why? Because measuring presenteeism isn’t a good measurement of performance. In fact, in my opinion, it’s the opposite. There’s really only one rule I have around this. 💡You have to be doing what’s expected of you💡 What helps for this to work is: 💡Joint responsibility to keep each other updated. By this I mean closing the loop and creating cognitive ease. This can look like: 💬 I had a call with X today. It went well but I’m concerned about the scope. Can we chat about it? 💬 That blog you asked me to write, can you give it a once over? 💬 I’ve hit a roadblock with that team development. I’m working on it but it’s going to take a couple of days longer than expected so I’m going to push the deadline Trusting your people to do their job isn’t about the hours it takes them to do it. I measure output and not time. #leadership #hrnightmare #comeforme

📣 Don’t Ever Say “That’s Not My Job” One phrase that truly oozes arrogance and laziness is, “That’s not my job.” In today's dynamic work environment, being adaptable and willing to step outside your designated role can make a significant difference. Here’s why: 🚀 Opportunities for Growth: Taking on tasks outside your job description can lead to new learning experiences and skills, opening doors to advancement. ⬆️ 🤝 Team Collaboration: By showing you’re willing to help wherever needed, you build a stronger, more cohesive team environment. 💡Problem Solving: Sometimes the best solutions come from a fresh perspective. Don’t shy away from contributing just because it’s “not your job.” 🌟 Leadership by Example: True leaders don’t just delegate; they lead by doing. Stepping up sets a powerful example for others. In short, a proactive attitude can set you apart and lead to both personal and professional growth. So next time, instead of saying “That’s not my job,” consider saying, “How can I help?” 🔥 #Leadership #GrowthMindset #Teamwork #Proactive #WorkEthic *********** 🙋🏻♀️ Hey! "I helped a man climb a mountain and ended up climbing it myself." I recently came across this quote and I truly endorse it. In the corporate world, it's easy to get caught up in the mindset that everything is a competition and that we need to withhold information to get ahead. But in reality, when we work together and share knowledge, everyone benefits. Think about it: by helping a colleague succeed, we're not only fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, but we also open ourselves up to new learning opportunities. When we share our insights and experiences, we contribute to a culture of growth can uplift everyone. In my own journey, I've found that the times when I've reached out to assist a teammate or shared what I know have often led to my own growth and success. It's a powerful reminder that collaboration, and not solely competition, is the key to achieving both personal and organizational goals faster. So let's shift our focus from racing against each other to climbing the mountain together. After all, the view from the top is much more rewarding when you have your team by your side. # ZaraHattKe #Collaboration #Teamwork #Growth #Leadership #CorporateCulture #Musings

Unpopular opinion: The biggest killer of productivity is over-empathy I’ve had a mixed bag of leadership over my career. Some managers took me under their wing and helped me grow. Others didn’t really know what to do with me—or social media in general. The biggest lesson I’ve learned? Leading with empathy alone can feel like pandering. Every professional wants to feel like their work matters. If you're not setting clear goals, your team will never grow. Of course, empathy is still crucial. I want my team members to feel valued as individuals, not just another cog in the wheel. But empathy has to be paired with actionable guidance. Here’s what I do: ☑ Build goals together. I work 1-on-1 with each team member to set realistic, measurable goals. By creating them together, we’re both accountable for the outcomes. ☑ Look at the big picture. I ask them: Where do you want to go in your career? What skills or experiences do you need to get there? ☑ Set yearly goals. I set 2-3 growth goals aligned with the company’s needs and 1 personal learning goal. That way, my team can grow in their role while also preparing for the next step in their career. Leadership isn’t just about being understanding. It’s about fostering growth and guiding your team toward success—both for themselves and for the company. #socialmedia #leadership #careergoals #marketing

What really matters in your role at work? 🤔 Many people believe it's all about hard work or sticking to your job description. While that’s true, my experience has shown me three key things that truly make a difference: seriousness, passion, and ownership. ✅ Seriousness: When you take your role seriously, you understand what’s important and focus on getting it done. 🔥 Passion: Passion keeps you excited about learning and improving every single day. It pushes you to grow and try new things. 💡 Ownership: When you take ownership of your work, you start thinking like a leader. You make decisions and plan strategies that bring results. When you combine these three, success is not far behind! It creates a win-win for you, your team, and the company. What do you think? #Motivation #WorkMindset #ProfessionalGrowth #TeamSuccess
